Giving is an act of worship. At Woodhaven Baptist Church (WBC), we express this truth (worshiping through giving) by committing together “to contribute cheerfully and regularly (2 Corinthians 9:6-7) to the support of the ministry, the expenses of the church, the relief of the poor, and the spread of the gospel through all nations” as we strive to honor the Lord with the “firstfruits” (Proverbs 3:9) of all our labor.
In this current digital age when people are increasingly conducting business and paying bills online, WBC has chosen to make online giving available to those who are interested. WBC teaches that living “debt free” is a worthy goal for all Christians. While online giving may involve the use of credit cards, care and concern should be exercised by every giver in using credit cards in giving. We offer this option only as a convenience and not as a way to circumvent sound biblical money management principles or incur debt. Users of online giving are responsible for setting up and controlling their online giving options. You can designate where your giving goes (general fund, missions, etc.) and the frequency in which you give. You will also be able to constantly track your online giving by logging in and viewing your history. Online giving is secure and tax deductible. You are free to give via the weekly offering in the worship service, by mailing your contribution to the church office, or now by internet using your credit card, debit card or your checking account (eCheck).
